Changing the favicon

The favicon of a website is a small image (16x16 pixels) shown on the left of your address bar and in browser tabs. Having a custom favicon will ensure a visitor (s)he arrived on the right website and improve navigation in the browser with a lot of tabs open.

Creating a custom favicon is easy and can be done by taking the following steps:

1. Create a 16x16 pixel image
2. Convert to ico format
3. Copy the file to templates/{template_name}/
4. Check your new favicon in a web browser (might require browser restart)
